REACTION - Alan Wake’s thermos is being made into actual merch and we couldn’t be happier

There are so many great product tie ins knocking about in this golden age of cashing in; full size Knockout City dodge balls, Fortnite banana skin figures, and anything Lego Mario. But Remedy Entertainment, who are rapidly becoming one of the most prolific and capable third party studios in operation, have just dropped a megaton.

Yep, those Oh Deer Diner thermos’ which were the bane of achievement hunters everywhere in the first Alan Wake are actually being made into a physical replica. It’s due for release later this year, possibly alongside Alan Wake 2 in October, and in true Sam Lake fashion, they revealed it with a two minute video that was equal parts cheesy and epic.

If Alan Wake 2 simply wasn’t enough, then this will take the biscuit. Or the coffee. It’s probably best that you use it for coffee.
