REACTION - Rollerdrome is coming to Game Pass, which is a big ol’ win

Rollerdrome was one of PlayStation’s best indie gets, having been a console exclusive for well over a year now. The team behind the skating carnage, Roll7, are singlehandedly responsible for some of the most mechanically satisfying games out there; Laser League was a criminally overlooked gem, Olli OIli has always been reliable, and Rollerdrome made it a triple.

It’s getting a Day 1 Game Pass release as well, which only heightens the jolliness. For anyone unfamiliar, it’s a single player skating combat adventure which revels in audacious combos and effective deployment of slow motion. Stick Max Payne and Cel Damage in a Tony Hawk blender and you’ll have some idea of what it’s going for.

Rollerdrome releases for Xbox, PC, and Game Pass on November 28th 2023.
